We made a couple of trips to the awesome Merthyr Mawr in South Wales. Both times were incredibly challenging. Despite the challenges we shall return to this beautiful place again.

Any heatwave should be a NAKED HEATWAVE in my opinion. Obviously we need to be sensible by looking after our skin and staying hydrated but being naked in this heat is the only way!

It's always cooler (and calmer) at the coast so after a busy trip to London Lucy couldn't wait to venture out (with her beer) for another sea fishing adventure. This time she spots some ships (courtesy of a friendly local) and has an encounter with a lovely eel.

We headed to the awesome Monknash Beach in South Wales for a very early morning sea fishing session on the Summer Solstice. It was well worth the effort in this stunning setting and I (Lucy) got to see a beautiful blonde ray. Amazing!
